Summary: |
| Dad is back from World War II and he takes his daughter, Liz, crow hunting to get reacquainted. Liz learns to use a crow call, but when the crows come dad decides not to shoot them. The story shows how a father and daughter rebuild their relationship after a long separation.
This picture book is most appropriate for GED scholars. The language is not primary and the vocabulary is enriching. The story prompts thoughtful inquiry. |
