Logging In as a "Student" - Enterprise Version - The Learning Manager

*****You MUST use Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher to view the pages of this course.****

NOTE:
In the directions below, Click means to click ONLY ONCE with the left hand mouse button.
Please try not to "Double click" (like you often need to do when using a computer). It can make unwanted things happen when trying to follow these directions.

Logging in to the course

  1. Using Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to this web address: http://mercury.educ.kent.edu/TLM40/Login.aspx?db=aepro  . This should take you to a web page that is mostly black with a place for your UserID and Password.

  2. Click in the box to the right of the words User ID. Type in the box your first name, and your full last name separated by an underscore, all in lowercase and without any spaces. Example: pam_white

  3. Now click in the box to the right of the word Password. Type in the box your full first name without any capitalization. Example: phil

  4. Click on the little yellow GO button. You should see a new page that is mostly white with a black banner across the top (says The Learning Manager out to the left). It will have a small box outlined in black on the left with a header of Personal Options and 3 larger boxes outlined in yellow. The Yellow box nearest the left hand side is headed Courses I am Taking.

  5. Click on the words the course you have enrolled in. The screen should now show a number of small black outlined boxes on the left (we will call these the Navigation Bars) and some graphics in the larger box on the right (we will call this box the Content Window).

    You are now in the course! The next step is to double check that we have your name and e-mail address entered correctly and to change your password if you wish. See the Step by Step Guide to change your Personal Information.
