Integrating Computer Technology into the Classroom Final Activity

Title:                    Graphing, Coordinates*“Where Is It?”


Learner Level:    10th*12th


Pre-Instruction:   Draw a picture on graph paper, label the points.  (Explore x and y)

Duration:             1-2 weeks


Materials:

Objectives:

The student will learn about coordinate planes, coordinates, plotting points, finding distances, and applying those skills to maps with longitude and latitude.


Procedure:

Introduce skills with books, graph paper, and practice (group and individual).  Then reinforce with the above web sites.

Evaluation:

Students will take a post-test out of the GED books about coordinate graphs.
