Title: Working with your email account

Learner Level:     Novice computer learner, adult

 

Pre-Instruction:   

Prior sessions included basic computer terminology, including words such as monitor, mouse, scroll up, hard drive, and how to turn the computer on and off properly and how to sign up for a free email account.

                          

Duration: 2 hours

 

Materials:        

Working computers, LCD projector for teacher when available, worksheets that outline the 2 hour course, review classroom explanations of terminology as well as review the steps to using email account and various email terminology such as Cc, Bcc.

 

Objectives:  Assist the adult learner how to send and receive messages and attachments.  

         

Procedure:       

Students will go through steps of logging on to their free email account, sending a message, downloading an attachment, sending an attachment in class.                   

 

Evaluation:       

Students will resend to the instructor the email attachment they receive during the course of the class at the end of the class.
