Objectives: 

The student should develop understanding of natural hazards, understanding of structure of the earth and abilities of technological design.

Procedure: 

Students will be introduced to the hazard of earthquakes, engineering procedures for earthquakes and the people involved in building the New Bay Bridge.

Evaluation: 

Task assessment – A check sheet would be provided as the student moves through each module of the New Bay Bridge.
