What should participants of the online learning experience expect
from the facilitator?
As
a facilitator I will:
- create a learning environment that utilizes life, work, and
educational experiences as key elements in the learning process in order to
make it meaningful.
- present the curriculum in a manner that allows you to easily
translate theories into applications.
- Reasonable accommodate your needs and desires for a good learning
experience.
- ask for your feedback and listen throughout the entire process.
- be concerned about your success.
- keep you aware of where you stand with respect to the course
evaluation process on a regular basis (i.e. weekly updates of what has been
turned in and what is missing).
- give the student timely and quality feedback on student
contributions to discussion, homework, and quizzes.
- Use case studies, hand-ons experiences and problem-based scenarios
as much as possible.
- treat everyone politely and with respect.
- be available online daily to provide guidance and feedback when
necessary.
As an online student, you
will be expected to:
- participate in the virtual classroom and Discussion Boards
- be able to complete assignments on time

sharing life, work, and educational experiences as part of the learning
process.

commit to 2 to 4 hours per week per course.
