Description
Richard Lavoie presents an update on his 1998 video How Difficult Can This Be? The F.A.T. City Workshop. He discusses major trends in the field of learning disabilities as well as challenges for educators. The activity is appropriate for all teachers, but especially for those who teach Basic Skills and GED. All materials for this activity are supplied by the Northeast ABLE Resource Center.
The activity involves the following steps:
1) View the 90 minute DVD.
2) After viewing the video, write a reaction paper focusing on how the message in Beyond F.A.T. City can be applied to your ABLE teaching experience.
3) Return the book with your reaction paper and a signed stipend request/evaluation form ($30) and a certificate of completion will be sent to you.
