Description The New American Horizons video series illustrates effective teaching practices through real classes with immigrants and refugees. Volume two includes three videos: 1. Growing Vocabulary with Beginning Learners which offers a contextualized approach; 2. Working with a Multi-level Class, which offers techniques for dealing with differing levels of language ability within a class; and 3. Developing Listening Skills with High-intermediate Learners that illustrates listening activities through the theme of cross-cultural experiences.
