Description Introduction to Learning to Achieve is part of a research-based training from the National Institute for Literacy that focuses on serving students with learning disabilities. This series of videos covers topics: Definitions of Learning Disabilities; Legal Issues; Screenings; Accommodations and Student perspectives. As was the case with LD 101/201, each Introduction to Learning to Achieve module will include an accompanying worksheet assignment, which must be completed and e-mailed to the Resource Center in order to receive credit for the activity. NOTE: Introduction to Learning to Achieve is the prerequisite to the Learning to Achieve workshop, though ABLE professionals who completed the LD 101/201 video series prior to December 31, 2010 may still use that activity in lieu of the new series. |
