| Description The Financial Resources & Economic Education Curriculum is meant to provide general financial information for immigrants with low English literacy level in order to gain control over their finances while improving English skills. Teachers will use the F.R.E.E. Teacher's Guide to gain language learning strategies and helpful tips for implementing the curriculum. Directions: 1. Read the Teacher's Guide to F.R.E.E. to learn basic steps for teaching a F.R.E.E. lesson including language learning strategies. 2. Review the curriculum at www.cpcc.edu/esl/civics/curriculum-materials/financial-resources-and-economic-education. 3. Teach a lesson to your students. 4. Write a reaction paper about your experience with the curriculum and implementation. 5. Return the reaction paper along with your evaluation form, and a Certificate of Completion will be sent to you. |
