| Description "With powerful entries from students' own diaries and a narrative text by Erin Gruwell, The Freedom Writers Diary is an uplifting example of how hard work, courage, and the spirit of determination changed the lives of a teacher and her students." 1) Read The Freedom Writers Diary, supplied to you by the Northeast ABLE Resource Center. 2) Write a reaction paper focusing on your experiences as a teacher and those of the author Erin Gruwell. 3) Submit the reaction paper and stipend request/evaluation form ($30) along with the book to the Northeast ABLE Resource Center. |
