This site features approximately 80 biographies of famous African-Americans and includes people such as: Henry Aaron, Marian Anderson, Maya Angelou, James Baldwin, W.E.B. DuBois, Frederick Douglas, Louis Farrakhan, Morgan Freeman, Spike Lee, Wynton Marsalis, Toni Morrison, Colin Powell, Wilma Rudolph, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Oprah Winfrey, Langston Huhes, Tiger Woods and many more.

Comments:
Each biography includes a quality photograph and features a larger font size. These biographies would work well for developing and competent readers. New and emerging readers could work together to read these portraits. This site is nicely done.
