This is a wonderful site for beginning, intermediate and advanced English as a Second Language learners. Choices include: New Listener, Regular Listener and Advanced Listener. Learners can listen to real audio stories about food, daily life, family, likes and dislikes, and self-introduction. Transcripts for the stories are a click away. Each story has questions to answer and includes the correct answers. The Regular Listener and Advanced Listener include a variety of topics in addition to the ones listed above.
Comments:
Small groups of learners might enjoy creating a lesson plan on a new topic for other students based on the design in this site. Hyperstudio would work well as the authoring device for this activity.
