This is a great site that offers an overview of endangered animals and includes descriptions, habitats, issues, activities, a glossary and much more. Adult learners might want to work in pairs to study a specific endangered animal or habitat. After reading the information learners can answer the questions about each chosen habitat or animal. A great classroom extension activity would be for learners to create a multimedia presentation on each animal and habitat and then put these together to form a class presentation on this important issue. Each small group or learner could create one or two slides that would be incorporated into the class presentation. |
