E Square is set up like a town square and features links to the Civic Center, Health Center, Jobs and Work, Special Features and Computer Center. The Health Center contains adult learner writings on health. The Civic Center and Jobs and Work feature local Massachusetts information related to government and job hunting. Special Features includes a visit to a community learning center, a class visit to a computer store (includes learner journal writings about the visit), an apartment hunting guide and more. The apartment hunting guide contains Tips on What You Should Do Before You Sign a Lease and Helpful Legal Terms that are easy to read and to understand. The Computer Center contains great information on how to shop for a computer, how computers work and several virtual visits to computer stores.

This is a great site that contains a lot of adult learner work and writing. It is definitely worth a visit and will give instructors a lot of ideas on active activities to do with their classes, either ABE, GED or ESL.
