Description:
Very colorful site filled with interesting folk tales from Liberia, Africa. Also featured here are links to other sites about Africa, Liberian recipes Teacher Lesson Plans, P.O.W.E.R. Plays, and much more. P.O.W.E.R. stands for pupils own, write, enact and are recognized for their work. This link provides all the information to put on a play using the folk tales and even includes paper mache directions, guidelines for auditions, acting games, rehearsals and much more. Break a leg!

Comments:
Great family literacy site where school age children could put on a play based on one of the Liberian folk tales. Site also has coloring pages for each folk tale that can be printed.
