| This book has an unusual format and despite its intent to explain science through art, the emphasis is more about how to really look at a tree or see a painting. The book ends with an explanatory paragraph on each painting. ESL teachers will find this a rich source for language development. ABE teachers will find easy links to poetry or descriptive writing. Certainly the relationship between the pictures and feelings evoked would be interesting to explore.
