Summary:
This book is a zany spoof about a child who hates math. Although this is clearly from a child's perspective, adults enjoy the puzzles and can appreciate the frustration over math questions.

Teaching Ideas:
Teachers may want to lead a class discussion with the group creating as many math problems as they can come up with. Students could do the math problems in the book, or students might want to explore the science curse mentioned at the end. With multiple copies, teachers might ask pairs of learners to pick their favorite illustrations and figure out the symbolism.
