What problems did the Danish meet in rescuing their Jewish neighbors and how did they solve them? Write a letter to Annemarie from Ellen telling about her escape to Sweden. Research why the Nazis never invaded Sweden though they invaded both Denmark and Norway. Compare the types of courage that each of the characters had to show. An excellent source for studying the German invasion of Denmark and the resistance of the population. | |
