Summary:
Various styles of poetry about camouflaged animals and insects. It includes rhyming, free verse, haiku, and concrete poems, The photographs of the animals are bright and beautiful taking in natural surroundings. Readers attempt to locate the creature and then open a two page spread showing the location of the animal and paragraphs providing information about the animal.

Teaching Ideas:
Can be used to discuss and model various styles of poetry. Look for the clues in each poem as to the identity of the animal. Do before locating and then again after. Use with the first book, Where in the Wild. Use this book as a Shared Reading experience with younger readers.
